It’s not easy being incognito when I am one of five people in a room, but eventually my families forget that I am present and the real family dynamic materializes. First I met Ryan, Shauna, Dylan and Khloe at their house and later we went to Del Mar so Dylan could release all his energy at the park. I like to start photographing my clients at their house because their children are most comfortable at home, especially when they meet me for the first time. Plus the family will remember that time in their lives and where they lived when they look back at their pictures.
