Whimsíque is an award winning designer invitation and stationery company here in San Diego and customer satisfaction is at the forefront of its business model. In fact the name Whimsíque is a combination of the words “whimsical” and “unique” because it describes the style of their designs. The client starts with an idea or color scheme and Whimsíque finds a unique way to present the idea in an invitation. And like I said before, their clients are extremely important so Whimsíque does face-to-face consultations or Skypes customers from out-of-town.
Yes, there are quite a few invitation businesses out there so what sets Whimsíque apart? At Whimsíque it is all about the customer experience. Their customer care is unparalleled and they focus on personalized attention. Satisfaction is not enough, they want their customers to walk away feeling delighted with the entire process. There is no limit on the number of revisions a client may request. They are willing to meet as often as the customer wants. And they will send samples whenever the client needs one.
Now you know what Whimsíque has to offer, let’s meet the talent behind the unique designs. She grew up in San Diego and has a degree in Graphic Design. She has worked in the non-profit sector designing and planning events. Later she became the Senior Graphic Designer at Infantino, a large baby toy and baby gear company. She designed everything from logos and packaging to toys and shopping cart covers. But the one thing missing from this job was the absence of excitement and creativity involved in creating unforgettable events. With a full time job she was constantly being asked to use her design skills and event knowledge to design invitations. And getting married helped her realize the value in a great vendor. That’s when she knew designing invitations and stationery for weddings and big events was her niche and so Whimsíque began in 2009. With the commencement of Whimsíque she was still working full time as a graphic designer, but designing invitations and stationery was her dream. In 2011 she left Infantino and is now pursuing what she loves; making exceptional invitations and stationery and giving Whimsíque 100% of her focus. Meet Melissa Ward, owner and creative director at Whimsíque.
I have personally witnessed Whimsíque’s superior customer centric attitude, which is why I am proud to share this post with all of my readers. For more information please visit Whimsíque Invitations and Stationery for more information.
